Vivien Leigh was born on November 5, 1913, in Darjeeling, India. After WW 1 she and her family moved back to England so that Vivien could get a convent education. Life was normal until Vivien saw her first play and decided at that moment she wanted to become an actress. Well, she certainly did!!!! Classic performances in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (1951), GONE WITH THE WIND (1939) and THAT HAMILTON WOMAN (1941). In that film she wore a beautiful pair of diamond and gold earrings while appearing with her husband to be, Laurence Olivier.
