Jeanette Macdonald was one of Hollywood's best musical comedy stars. Her pairing with Nelson Eddy in a series of well-received films starting with the 1935 MGM release "Naughty Marietta" earned her kudos from audiences everywhere. Ms. Macdonald was also wonderful in the film "San Francisco" opposite Spencer Tracy and Clark Gable. In the 1941 film "Smilin' Through" she appeared with her true love, Gene Raymond, wearing this gorgeous champagne diamond.
