Ingrid Bergman was born in Stockholm on August 29, 1915 and began her career in a little known Swedish film called LANDSKAMP (1932). At the ripe old age of 17 Ms. Bergman began a long cinematic journey that would lead to one of the most illustrious careers in Hollywood. Starring in such classic films as CASABLANCA (1942), GASLIGHT (1944), and FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS (1943) the often nominated and multi-Oscared actress consistently gave stellar performances in all genres. In the 1948 drama, ARC OF TRIUMPH, Ingrid Bergman starred with Charles Laughton, Charles Boyer and an amazing canary and diamond ring.
